On the 6th of December in Austria we celebrate the day of Saint Nikolaus. However on the evening of the 5th of December he visits good children and leaves small presents behind. Well, but what happens if you are far away form home, let’s say London for instance? Don’t worry, he’ll certainly send a parcel to you! 🙂
Already a week ago a huge parcel arrived and it was “GRUSS VOM NIKOLAUS” written all over it. Yesterday night we were finally allowed to open it. It contained two little red bags filled to the top with sweets, peanuts and gingerbread, and some yummy Christmas-teas, more sweets and festive decoration aside. 😀
Thank you dear Nikolaus for thinking of us, even when we are not at home!
The only good thing of not being home in the first week of December: the Krampus can’t catch you! 😉
