A Girl’s Date

TateCollageBoth Francesca and me got important emails this week to confirm our new full time, paid, very grown-up jobs, wich we gonna start shortly and which promise a good start into the new year. So naturally we had to celebrate.

And being as grown-up as we are now (apparently), we chose a breakfast date to suit the occasion. 😉 We met today at St. Paul’s with Francesca promising to take me to a special place which I’m gonna love. And she was right: we had breakfast at the Member’s Room of the Tate Modern Museum, and the amazing view comes complimentary!

After we went to see The World Goes Pop, an exhibition about how pop art was picked up by different cultures and countries during the 1960 and 70s. It was very interesting, colourful and a little trashy, but we liked it!

We finished our lovely girly date with some polaroid attempts in front of the Thames (but it looks like the arctic winds of England decided to freeze them and turn us into ghosts) and a proper London meal: fish and chips!

XX, Angie
