There’s no place like home.

As last Monday was a Bank holiday and it happened to be my little cousins first communion, so I decided that was reason enough and swiftly bought my flight home to Austria over the weekend.

I escaped grey, windy and ever “spring-is-just-around-the-corner” London in order to come home to this:

Well, I guess the hills are alive with the sound of music. Or at least they are green, sunny and you can actually have an impression what May should look and feel like.
To be honest, it was kinda eye-opening for me. It’s spring. And actually, it’s almost summer! I mean, if you read this blog, you know that ever since March I write about Spring being just around the corner, or the weather getting slowly nicer – but actually it’s already May! The year is already almost half over and I feel like I am still waiting for it to get properly started! But enough of that, I might be getting a little over excited. Being home was about the good vibes!

Needless to say that the weekend was all about lunch at my grandmothers, seeing my family, catching up with my sister – being home.
It wasn’t very relaxing, to be honest, but that’s not the point. When I returned to London, I was full of good energy, my bag was full of sweets and sausages and I felt like I got that spring-kickstart I so desperately needed.

XX, Angie
