Christmas flavours

Shortbread is definitely one of my favourite bakes: with only three basic ingredients and infinite possibilities to (literally) spice it up it’s simple yet sophisticated!
Christmas is around the corner but we are stuck at university until the very end – we have the last exam on the 21st of December! And as everyone knows: there’s no better way to procrastinate than baking! So I decided to make some easy but satisfying festive cookies.

And so I whipped up a quick shortbread dough, flavoured it with orange zest and vanilla and dipped the cookies in chocolate. Voila!
